Indiana University( Hoosiers), has 5 national championships and I think the best player that ever went there was Larry Bird. or University of North Carolina( tar heels), has 3 national championships and best player that went there was Michel Jordan. Illinois(fighting Illini) has 2 national championships by the way! .Actually Corey, Larry Bird did go to Indiana University for 1 year and then transferred to Indiana State, so that still means he went to IU. And North Carolina always has a good chance to win it all but they ALWAYS choke in either the Final Four or the Elite eight. Like last Season for example they got killed by Kansas by 20 points. And many people say the Big East is the NAtions top basketball conference because it is more consistent and more teams in the Top Ten, unlike the ACC just has #1 North Carolina that always loses anyway. Whenever a Big East team was ranked 1 the they won the National Champ. game, Like UCONN and Syracuse! Oh and there is still a ongoing argument in the NCAA about the 2005 national championship game, about the Refs favoring North Carolina and giving them all the calls, like when if Sean Mays fat a$$ was even touched by a fly they would call it a foul on Illinois, so there is a chance they can revoke UNCs title in 2005 and give it to Illinois.
